WIP #8

Linking up to Lee’s (Freshly Pieced) “WIP” post.

Last time, I had three works in progress.  Let’s see how I did…

Quilts Completed:

1)  I finished my Kona Solids Challenge.  Pictures and post will come soon!

2)  I finished my Dolce Quilt!!!

Dolce quilt

It is twin sized, and I am so excited to have it finished.  You  can read more about this quilt here.

Quilts under construction:

1)  My skill builder sampler and Summer Sampler blocks are slowly coming together.  Here are the Skill Builder Sampler blocks.

Here are my Summer Sampler blocks.  I would just like to say that one of my blocks has not come out the way I wanted since I wanted to make it a little more complicated.  It is the bottom star one.  The star isn’t big enough, but I like it and I’ll keep it, and I might make another one just so I can say I made it the right way.

Quilts in planning:

So, these probably don’t count since they are just ideas in my head, but I have to show you the fabric I get to work with.

These fat quarters…

…with these solids…

I am very excited to get started!

Final stats:

3 projects from last time

2 projects completed

0 projects started

(many projects in my brain)

That means, I am down to one (1) Work in progress again.  I like this number.  🙂

  1. Toni says:

I love your dolce quilt! So sweet for a little girl’s room! Your samplers look great, too. I probably should go back and join those so I can build my skills a bit. There are so many quilts in my head that I want to make, but I think they will be more successful if I practice a bit first. But that’s not nearly as much fun! Glad to have found your blog!

  2. Debbie says:

Your dolce quilt is lovely! Very nice.

  3. Katie B says:

Your Dolce quilt is so, so pretty!

  4. Jill says:

That’s impressive, I never ever get close to one! Love the Dolce quilt.

  5. LisaAnn says:

Nice finishes! The Dolce quilt is so pretty. I love the soft colors!

  6. Lynette says:

Dolce is wonderful! That Kona aqua is so beautiful with it.

  7. Rylee says:

I love the first quilt so much! I never would have thought to use that beautiful blue for the backing, it gives it such a fresh modern look! I love the pattern as well and you designed it yourself?!? So talented!
