WIP #13

Last time on Lee’s WIP series, I had 5 projects I was working on.

Completed Quilts:

1)  Hokkoh Wicker Quilt Complete!  This quilt is headed for my cousin.  This was a fun quilt (and fun fabric) to work with!

2) Technicolor Yawn / Scrap Vomit Quilt Complete!

This quilt is going to be my “keep myself warm at night during the winter” quilt.  I love looking at it!  It was very fun to quilt this because I used a new-to-me free motion quilting design that looks like rainbows.

Projects I have not worked on:

Quilting the two twin quilts meant that I didn’t really work on anything else.  So, these projects were untouched this week.

3)  Friendship star quilt

4)  Skill Builder Sampler

5)  Quilt of Valor II

New Quilts:

6)  Habitat Quilt.  While I am going to save showing the final quilt until after our November Quilt Guild meeting, I will show you my scraps so you can see the colors this quilt will have.  I just have to sew the rows into the quilt top.  I have not worked in this color range before, but I am excited about it!

Thanks for stopping by.  See more works in progress in Lee’s blog.

  1. Great job on your quilts. Just beautiful. I’ve been working on FMQ lately and I love what you did with that rainbow pattern on your scrap vomit quilt (great name!). i’m hosting TGIFF! this Friday at http://www.quiltmatters.blogspot.com to celebrate recent finishes. It would be great if you could link this up and share what you did. Every finish deserves a party, no? And you have two to celebrate!

  2. Lee says:

Ooooh, Scrap Vomit! Love it! That’s been on my to-do list for a while. Great job finishing it.

Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
