WIP #10

I’m linking up with Lee’s WIP posts on her blog, Freshly Pieced.

Last week, I had two works in progress.

1)  I had already finished the blocks for the Summer Sampler Series, and now I have caught up with the Skill Builder Sampler.  I am going to take all the blocks so far and make them into a lap quilt.  This work in progress is finally going become something!

2)  The Hokkoh quilt top  is still folded up.  This top uses a block similar to the bright hope’s twist block, but with two bars instead of one.  This block is similar to the popular “Off the Rail” pattern by Julie at Jaybird Quilts.  I must say, after doing 48 partial seams, I think I finally get how to do them.  This was truly a fun quilt to put together.

Bright Hope's Twist

3)  A month back, someone asked me to make a quilt similar to my scrappy zig zag quilt, only using their fabric.  It has been fun putting together something using fabric that has some deep meaning to someone else.   The quilt has been laid out, and just needs to be assembled.

So, zero projects finished, one new project started.  Total of three projects.

Thanks for stopping by!
