Well, it being 2012 and all, I figure I should probably do my end of the year collage before the world ends.
I made 23 quilts this year. But before you get all judgy and say, “You made 50% more than that last year,” I would like to do a few stats for you.
2011
1 King Quilt
13 twin or lap quilts
22 baby quilts
2012
2 full size quilt
13 twin or lap quilts
8 baby quilts
OK, I don’t know what happened. Somehow, I was able to make a lot more quilts last year. However, I like to think that perhaps my quality has improved, thus making up for the lack of quantity. Sound fair?
Here are my three favorite quilts from 2012, in no particular order. These quilts took me FOREVER to make.

I also made a few tutorials this year.
My Paper Piecing with Dresden Wedge Tutorial

And my Homeward Bound Block tutorial
All in all, I consider 2012 to be a good year. I learned a lot more about balance this year, which also may explain why I only made 23 quilts (instead of 36 like 2011!). But, who knows, maybe you’ll see few quilts from me next year. :) Probably not.
Thanks for visiting! Have a happy rest of your 2012! See you in 2013!

You’ve had an eventful year! Your quilts are gorgeous and you have some mad skills, Tanya.
