Remember this quilt? And it’s tutorial? Well, I sure am glad I wrote it because I needed to remember how to make this quilt, it had been so long!

I had the warm colors of the Nest line (Valorie Wells) available, so I decided to make this exact quilt in more feminine colors.

I had these wedges cut all the way back in July, but obviously it took me a while to make this one. But, I’ll be honest, I love the look of “twin” quilts.

I even used the matching DS Quilts fabric for the backing, and hand stitched the dresden plates to both. I quilted them both with a loopy design, and I used Kona Raffia for both of their bindings. The measurements ended up being the same after washing, 38.5 x 47.5 inches.

I’m glad to have this one finished. Hope you like looking at it as much as I do! Thanks for stopping by!

Great job, Tanya! I love the colors. This is cute a cute design, I’d like to make one myself sometime.
Lovely Tanya! I hope we are lucky enough to see this in person at guild night.
